Penny For Your Thoughts was released on March 26, 2016. It is the band's sixth album.

Penny For Your Thoughts was the final Odd Logic album to be released solely under Sean's creative control. The album, in traditional Odd Logic fashion, blends significantly different styles and genres into one cohesive amalgamation of progressive rock that is as gripping from start to finish as it is diverse and musical. There are many guest musicians on the album, including all three current members of Odd Logic that appear on the 2017 release, Effigy.

Penny For Your Thoughts is another intense concept album--the story of which follows the spiritual and mental journey of one man split between multiple personalities. Details of the album and its full story are below.

Digital copies of Penny For Your Thoughts and other Odd Logic releases can be purchased here. Physical copies of Penny For Your Thoughts are expected to become available some time in 2017.

the history of penny for your thoughts

After 2013’s If We Were Live came to be, Sean felt the urge to look for members to flesh out the project to the band he facetiously referenced in If We Were Live. Sean had played out live in many different formats up until this point. “But to not have done it yet,” he adds, “with the project that came from my true heart and soul was just wrong.” Despite his aspirations, he discovered that it took far more time to establish the right lineup than he initially thought. So while the process continued, Sean decided to finish and record the project that would become the album Penny For Your Thoughts.

The album was recorded fairly quickly and then offered for free as a thank-you to all those who supported the project for the past twelve years. Although it was entirely created, recorded, mixed and mastered by Sean, it featured all three of the full band members that would complete the Odd Logic lineup for Effigy, as well as many others (the full list is below).
